fallon is closing its new york office following the exits of president anne bologna and executive creative director ari merkin.

fallon new york was the site of the first account planners of new york (apny) meeting in april 2001. it has always been one of my favorite agencies to visit, a place that made me believe in creativity.

one of my favorite things about fallon new york--besides maria mchugh--is the bathrooms: they're named after stars, and they're equipped with showers. i like the idea of an agency so much like home you could live in it. and i don't know where you get your inspiration, but i know where i get mine: in the shower.

i'm sad to see fallon leave new york. i'm excited to see what anne and ari have up their sleeves.
